Happy Gotcha Day, #heyokared
Red came to us in 2019 from Red Barn Pet Ranch Dog Boarding & Daycare who took him in after sheriffs rescued him from a tree on FM 1863.
The name Heyoka means "Sacred Clown" in Lakota. Heyokas have similar energy to a joker, or coyote, the trickster. They often interrupt heavy energy with antics to break up stagnation and they often do things backwards and are a reminder that sometimes changing your point of view can offer a new solution.
He loves Tucker, Jasper, Sully and Marshmallow and is often leading the charge during play time!
